Vintage Magazines If you're looking for something interesting to read then you've come to the right place! We stock a large range of magazines, our most popular include those covering the 1940's - 1950's for example Picture Post, Picturegoer & Motoring. If you are looking for a magazine to commemorate a certain date then please contact us. Framed Original Adverts These advertisments are from magazines published over the past 100 years (usually 1920's to 1970's), they are original adverts and not copies. The subjects covered include; automotive (cars & accessories), household, beauty, food and drink. Many are "of their time" including words and phrases you will not see in today's polically correct advertisements. All adverts come ready framed and have details of which magazine they came from and the original publication date. Where possible we re-use frames so they are in keeping with the age & style of the adverts. They make great gifts for birthdays or anniversaries so please contact us if you have a specific date you're trying to match something to (40th birthday, wedding anniversary, etc) or for a certain subject. Upcycled Items When the magazines we obtain aren't in good enough condition to sell whole we use some of the adverts for framing up but we are left with lots of other interesting bits and pieces. After wondering for a while what we could do with the ever growing piles we realised how we could use them and our range of upcycled objects was born. Using a decoupage style technique we take old frames, mirrors, clocks, well anything really and give it a coat of vintage so it can live another life! Each is themed so the adverts, pictures & text used reflect these be they beauty on a mirror or food on a memo board. They make wonderful, unusual and most importantly unique presents! |    |
